１月20日（土）今朝の１曲。
今日は昨日のブログでも名前を上げてたこのグループ
「The Police」
ある程度年齢が上の方なら知っていると思いますが少し紹介。
1970年代にイギリスで結成されたロックバンドです。
色んな要素が入った音楽でレゲエも積極的に取り入れてます。
２枚目のアルバムは「Reggatta de blanc（白いレガッタ）」で、「White Reggae（白いレゲエ）」とも言われているらしいです。白いレガッタの曲は全然レゲエ感ないけど…。
ちなみにボーカル兼ベースは、かの有名な「Sting」です。
Stingは明日紹介するとして、The Policeで好きな歌はこの曲です↓

初めて聞いたとき「Walking under The Moon」って聞き間違ってて、月明かりの下を歩くイメージしてたんだけど「on the moon」ってわかったとき「あっ、気持ちが良いかも」ってイメージを膨らましてました。
レゲエのリズムに乗りながら月の上を散歩する感じ。
そりゃ気持ちいいでしょ(´▽｀)
The Police – Every Breath You Take
この曲も色んな人にカバーされていて、聞いたことない人はいないぐらい有名な曲ですね。
これがオリジナルです。
そしてかっこいいカバーと言えばこの人でしょう！
I’ll Be Missing You – Puff Daddy & Faith Evans feat 112
HipHopやR&Bが好きな人にはこっちの方が有名かも。
この曲でラップしているPuff Daddyは名前がコロコロ変わるので有名で、パフダディからP・ディディからディディ、またまたパフダディ、って、今は何て名前で活動してるのやら。
ちなみにPuff Daddyはレーベルの社長でもあり、アパレルブランド「Sean John」の経営者でもあってラッパーで成功している人の一人でもあります。
昔はSean John好きで好んで着てたなぁ。
